The senior teams gathered in the club to celebrate the achievements of the 21/22 season on Saturday and to declare the various winners of the much coveted “crystal” tankards.
Despite the best efforts of president Pat and the uncharacteristic verbosity of Peter Sutcliffe the evening was an unqualified success, thanks in no small part to compere and comedian, Barry York. The septuagenarian entertained his audience with quips and jokes from every decade of his long and distinguished career.
