Superb performance

Well finally a real test for the boys against a talented and physically strong Hullensians side who had some big tough lads, Sam Hassard scored 2 early tries to stamp our authority on the match and the spent most of the first half defending superbly down the middle and a few last ditch tackles meant it remained 2-0 at half time.

The second half the boys stepped up their game and played some superb rugby with wuick hands getting the ball out wide to Jeremy who on several occassions had to stretch to hang on to the ball and he was finally rewarded with a try to make it 3-0

The middle of the park was dominated by great tackling from Jack Walker, Stan, Bradley, Matt Cass and supported by all the rest of the team and it was Matt who broke through the defensive line with a terrific run to set up Jack for the 4th try.

In the final moments Fin capped off a fine performance with a solo run from halfway to score a superb try and make the final score 5-0

All round a fantastic team effort and once again our defence was not breached but we have quality players that can make terrific indidual runs that other teams dont have, once again Jay was superb at full back and new boy Alistair made an impact and Ben, Harry, Jack W and all the other players made a contribution.
