East Yorkshire Festival

After convincing victories against Beverley,Driffield and Pocklington the boys faced a difficult final against a really strong Hullensians side, both team having won all of there games, a scrappy first half saw the game on a knife edge at one try apiece at half time, but some terrific defending and some great ball handling and running Sam Hassard scored to make it 2-1 early in the first half and despite some dubious refeering in the ruck the boys held on for a great victory and there first trophy of the season, overrall a great team effort with particular mentions for Sam, Jeremy,Jay and Lewis's running, Stan and Jack' s terrier tackling and all round performance from Jack Williamson who was rightly named player of the tournament.
