Sam Wilson... What a season! Although Sam has missed a few games towards the end of the year, he really pushed on and gave it his all scoring two hat-tricks (5 in his career), 18 tries, made his 250th 1st XV appearance and of course, got selected to play in the Dubai 7s tournament along side friend and team mate, Lewis Minkin. Well done Sam, you are a huge asset to this great club and everyone here is really proud of you. Keep going!

"It’s always a goal of mine to end the season as top try scorer and with Lewis missing the final game because of his brothers wedding meant I could achieve this, so thanks to lew's brother for holding his wedding on the final game of the season!

Me and Lewis have been battling for the top spot all season, however with me missing a couple of games towards the end of the season meant he managed to run away with it. I knew it was achievable to get 3 tries against Blaydon with the way we have been playing and was great to get my third in the closing minutes. All the lads came running in to celebrate my third which made the feeling even better!"
