Preparations are underway for the biggest event in the rugby calendar, the infamous Hull Ionians’ Boxing Day Bonanza. It’s no coincidence that it’s is being posted now as it’s exactly 1 month away. We can’t wait!! Plans are in place to scour East Yorkshire for the very best rugby talent in the area to blow away your Christmas cobwebs. Rumours are circulating about a promising young fullback, Tim Mabbett captaining one of the sides which shows we’re in for a real treat of fast flowing, dynamic rugby.

Pints will be flowing from 12pm sharp with the rugby due to kick off at 1pm. A longstanding tradition for many families in the area, come and make it yours and make sure you bring your singing voice.
