This year's annual President's charity pre match lunch was held on Saturday 3rd December when we faced Harrogate in our last home game of the year. It was great success! We raised over £2,000 as more than 200 guests enjoyed a traditional Christmas lunch, classic Hull Ionians Entertainment, a great game of rugby and a good drink and laugh after the game. The club made a donation of £2250 to Parkinson's UK (Hull and East Yorkshire) as a result of this day. We look forward to next year!

On behalf of the Hull and East Yorkshire section of Parkinsons UK, I would like to thank you and the club for naming us your chosen charity for the President's day luncheon and inviting us to talk.

We are delighted and grateful to receive the marvellous sum of £2,250.00 and we can't thank you, your generous members, sponsors and friends enough.

The money will go a long way to help us to provide services and help to roughly 2,000 people in the area of East Yorkshire who have have lived and still live with this disabling and incurable condition.
