This years chosen charity is The Noah Jordan Foundation for our own, George Mewburn’s Nephew, Charlie Dodds. Let’s make sure we pack the place out and spread the word of the big day!

In July, Charlie Dodds was tragically diagnosed with POLG mitochondrial disease at just 11 months old.
This rare and devastating disease affects the body’s ability to produce energy, something so fundamental, yet so fragile. For Charlie, every day is a challenge no child should ever have to face. Surrounded by the unwavering love of his parents Harrison and Ellie, his big brother Wilson, and a remarkable network of family and friends, Charlie continues to face each day with strength and courage.

POLG mitochondrial disease is complex, unpredictable and, heartbreakingly, has no effective treatments or cure. But the Dodds family refuse to give up. Their determination to raise awareness, fight for answers, and support research is nothing short of inspiring. As they join TNJF, the Dodds family have already begun turning their determination into action, rallying their community and raising incredible sums to help fund vital mitochondrial research.
