Mo lives in Hull and has a wealth of experience in the Hospitality Industry. Mo worked three years for Hull City AFC at the KCOM Stadium in Hull as Hospitality Catering Manager & Conference and Events Manager, and then six years for Hull KR at Craven Park Stadium as Events & Catering General Manager. In his early career, Mo also worked locally at the Mercure Royal Hotel, Village Hotel and the Ramada Jarvis Hotel.

Mo will take on full responsibility for the day to day running of Brantingham Park.
The Club will be looking to Mo to lead and motivate his team, introduce new systems that will improve and assist with the general running of the Club and, drive sales forward.

Mo is very keen to get started and has already met with most of the Board members and the staff. I am sure that our membership will provide a warm and friendly welcome to Mo.

Current General Manager, Ian McColm, will not be leaving us. Ian is approaching retirement age but, he will stay with us to take up a new role of ‘Hospitality & Events Coordinator’ with effect from 3rd January 2023. Ian’s new role will carry less management responsibilities and, we will probably see less of Ian during the week but, we expect that this role will allow Ian to play to his strengths, as we regularly see in Hospitality on Saturday afternoons at the Club.

We are pleased that Ian has agreed to work closely with Mo during January 2023, to assist with a smooth handover.

I am sure that all of the membership will join with the Operations Board in thanking Ian for the energy and enthusiasm that he brought to the position of General Manager.
