Three lads are vying to be first to achieve a personal milestone for the club this week-end.
If it were chess they were playing then you would put your money on Sam Pocklington, sharp as a tack, he’s always two moves ahead of the opposition.
James Sanderson would be a safe bet in a triathlon; gritty, determined and a top rate all-rounder.
But it’s rugby so, as he kicks the goals, my fiver is on Ben Smith being the first to his landmark of 150 points, so it’s up to Sando or Pocky to notch the first try. Will we see 80 minutes of nine-man rugby?
Good luck to them all.
Ben Smith – 90 matches, 149 points.
Sam Pocklington – 84 matches, 195 points
James Sanderson – 182 matches, 195 points
