Late night Bugle

Malcolm Knowles13 Nov 2014 - 22:13

Team news and other tit bits. The Buccs are declared.

The 1st XV visit Chester, in turmoil after the sudden departure of the DoR Nic Corrigan, the self styled "Special One".
I's are without Campbell, who has also departed. I overheard he has joined a repertory company and has got a part as the tin man in the Wizzard of Oz which is apparently touring Australia! Luke Thunders has gone with him as understudy for Toto. Danny Hague comes in at 8 ( which will be 5 hours late for the 3 o'clock KO ).
Slingers, with nothing better to do this week, comes in on the wing which relegates last weeks star larker to the bench. Chris Reakes is fit after leaving the field last week. Doctors were able to re-position his hair.
The Hawks return to league action at BP against lowly Sandal. It will still be a difficult fixture, matches against the Wakey lads always are.

Buccs squad to play York away 2.15 KO

They look particularly strong on the bench. Young Kissack is a formidable fellow but it is unusual, if not unprecedented, to have one man propping both sides of the scrum. Good on 'im.
