Kami signed for Hull Ionians, seeing the light in November making the move from Hull RUFC, after joining them from playing University rugby for Bishop Burton. He is a fantastic addition to our Prop section and has played 7 games since joining.

Head Coach Mal Holden said “Kami is a great young lad that’s really fitting into the team well. He’s a very calm and laid back guy, which really helps him fit into our playing style. He enjoyed himself a lot on his first bus trip to Rossendale and showed real interest in working on his rugby which is great as we know his potential being such a big strong front rower already.”

Forwards Coach Lewis ‘Thiedy’ Thiedy said “ Kami is an exciting young player with all the key qualities to be a top level rugby player he is able to dominate collisions and has the raw power to to be a top scrummager.”
