'Parky' was a long time supporter of Hull Ionians RUFC, following a playing career at Hull & East Riding RUFC and Ionians RUFC plus periods in Rugby League, at the old Craven Park Juniors and Myson RLFC.
Joe also coached at Mini Junior and Colts level at Ionians RUFC.

Many will also remember Joe as landlord of The Plimsoll Ship on Witham in Hull, The Londesborough Arms at Market Weighton, The Plough at Hayton and Hotham Arms, Hotham.

Joe was a colourful character who will be missed by many.

Funeral arrangements are, 12:00 at Beverley Minster on Friday 26th April 2019.
