I am sure that you are all aware that the current restrictions re: the Covid-19 pandemic has seen the RFU, in consultation with the Government, announce that there will be no Senior or Age Grade league rugby activity at all in Season 2020/21. The RFU have said that there could possibly be a Regional Cup Competition or Inter-Club Friendly matches, played in the new year but this is very much dependant on the Covid-19 situation and they offer no guarantees.

As a Members Rugby Club, we must strictly comply with any imposed restrictions, both local and national. We do recognise the issues that these circumstances present to the Club and, to our membership and, we will regularly be considering what we are allowed to provide, whilst complying with the imposed restrictions.

Realistically, a lack of rugby activity does not see our financial commitments disappear or, our need to maintain our facilities. We cannot simply ignore the needs of our building and our playing surfaces whilst being unable to play Rugby. As soon as we are allowed, we need to be in a position to open the Club and have pitches that are playable. Your Operations Board is well aware of what is required to maintain and run Brantingham Park, whilst the current restrictions are in place and, what is required to be in a position to fully open our facilities once again, when allowed.

We are a 'Members' Club.
We all appreciate what a lack of rugby activity means but, we still need you to renew and maintain your membership as a show your support for 'your Club'. On this point, the Operations Board have agreed to offer a 25% discount on all forms of Club membership applicable for season 2020/21, below Vice President level.
The Board have not included Vice President membership in this discounted offer as the Board respects what this level of membership commitment means to the VP's and, the Board would not wish to interfere with the VP's continued support of the Club through these difficult times.

Membership subscriptions were not altered for season 2020/21 and remain at the levels published in your Club Handbooks for season 2019/20 i.e. Full Rugby Member is £138, less 25% discount, now £100; Student (18+) Unemployed is £84 now £63; Social member is £75 now £56; Casual Rugby Player is £40 now £30 and Rounders Member is £10 now £8.
The 25% discount is also applicable to the many variations of Club Mini Junior membership.

The Club appreciates that some of our members may be going through difficult times during these extraordinary circumstances but, if you feel able to renew your membership of the Club for season 2020/21, your Club would be very grateful. Please contact the Club office for any further information or, drop in your Membership subscription payment at the office, if you can.
