Chef / Kitchen Manager - Role overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join our team, capable of delivering high-quality food and managing a busy kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver catering for large-scale events, including banquet-style dining for up to 250 guests, offering either three-course meals or buffet service.
• Prepare a variety of homemade hot dishes, including items such as sausage rolls and pies.
• Manage all aspects of kitchen operations during busy service periods, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
• Source high-quality ingredients, maintain accurate stock levels, and manage inventory effectively.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality products at competitive prices.
• Ensure all food produced meets consistently high standards of quality and presentation.
• Maintain and exceed all food hygiene and safety standards, in line with current regulations.
• Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to quality, cleanliness, and hygiene standards.
• Oversee kitchen equipment maintenance and arrange repairs when necessary.
• Ensure guests receive excellent service and enjoy a high-quality dining experience.
Requirements :
• Proven experience in catering for large events and managing busy kitchen service.
• Minimum Level 3 Food Hygiene certification.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
Working Hours:
• 35–40 hours per week
• Typically 4–5 days per week
• Includes weekend work (Saturday and Sunday)
• Flexibility to manage working hours in line with business needs
