Farewell goes to our very own Josh ‘Britto’ Britton. Josh has been a great servant to the club over the last five years and will be massively missed. Josh leaves the club to move over seas and explore new opportunities in his career.
We wish Josh and his parter all the luck in the world with their move and hope it all goes well for them.
Josh said - “ I’ve had the best 5 years at Ionians, it’s been such an incredible part of my life. Due to an amazing opportunity to work overseas, I am sadly moving on. Thank-you to everybody who has been apart of that journey and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone at the club whether that’s the players, coaches, supporters and sponsors. Ionians will always hold a special place in my heart, and I wish you all the best for the future.
Up the Is”
Head coach Mal said - “ It’s sad to say bye to Josh. He’s a player that was here when I first started and throughout that time been ever present in the squad. He’s someone that has had the pleasure to play with some of his best friends these last 5 years and that’s a special thing. He’s got opportunity overseas and we wish him and his partner all the success in the world. Hopefully there’s lots of factor 50 over there as he can go a bit pink in the summer! Thanks Josh and good luck!”
