Hull Ionians v Harrogate this week-end and more...

Hull Ionians have the honour of officially opening the new Harrogate RFC clubhouse and grounds at Rudding Lane, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, HG3 1DQ.
I's will be playing a double header, the 1st XV and Hawks playing Harrogate 1st XV and Georgians respectively and representing the Wooden spoon society.
The Hawks kick off at 1.00pm and the 1st XV match starts at 3.00pm.
The admission is only £5 with the proceeds going to the charity which supports respite and medical treatment centres, sensory rooms, specialist playgrounds, sports activity areas and community based programmes in the UK and Ireland. More than £1.8m has been raised in the Yorkshire region over the past 20 years, supporting more than 55 projects in the local community.

The Ionians squad -

We welcome Emanuel Harmatiuk to the club. " That's all you need to know about him.
"Manu" has traveled from Argentina to join us and will hope to secure a place in the second row. He certainly looks the part, but will face plenty of competition with skipper Joe Makin returning to fitness and Danny Paul, Joe Sanders, Ed Falkingham and Rob Kench all keen on a first team berth.

Coaching guru and former Ionian player, Paul Cook, has joined the coaching team at Bridlington. If one wants to make a name for oneself at the seaside then that's the way to do it!
