Two of the lads who represented Yorkshire in the recent U19 fixtures have been invited to join the the U18's North of England trials to be held in December. Congratulations to Ben Winterburn and Charlie Ward who have been selected.

Charlie Ward, James Cowen and Ben Winterburn all started the final game for Yorkshire 18s against Durham. Aiden Calvert come off the bench in the second half. All of them put in solid performances. The forwards had to put in a lot of work as it was mainly a forwards game. Ben Winterburn grabbed the first try for Yorkshire and made a few line breaks. Although it was a close game Durham did go away with the win. This series of 3 matches for Yorkshire U18's were held for selection for North England.

More good news reaches the Bugle via Simon Darley who informs us that Ollie Martin, Keane Naylor & Chris Darley are selected in the Yorkshire U20's squad for their warmup game against Wharfedale Forresters at Ilkley this Sunday. Hopefully they will be successful in being selected the following week for the first U20's championship game away against Cheshire.
