Neil Arton, President of Bridlington Rugby Club is running a mile a day during November to raise money for Prostate Cancer, a very worthy cause.
‘Artie’ is a well-known character in East Yorkshire Rugby. In his playing days he was a scrumhalf, mainly at Bridlington but he did have a season at Hull & East Riding in the 1980’s.
Arie was robust, larger than life scrumhalf, usually playing behind a strong pack. He is now an even larger Club President.
Artie has already raised over £3,600 of his £5,000 target. If you are able, please go to Arties ‘go fund me’ page by searching on ‘Neil Arton's Mile a Day for Prostate Cancer’ and donate what you can.
