Before we are inundated with responses reminding us that we usually hold our AGM on the last Thursday in May, I can assure you all that we are well aware of that.

This year, we have an issue with the availability of the Club Officers which has forced us to hold our AGM on the Tuesday before. I hope you all will appreciate and understand that we would want our Club Officers to attend the AGM and report to the membership and, that this change in date has been adopted for the benefit the membership who attend.

By Tuesday 12th May, we will have provided formal notice of the AGM 2026 by email and by posting on the Club Website. The email will be sent to members only and will include the minutes of the AGM held on 29th May 2025 plus a copy of the Club Accounts for y/e 30th June 2025.

May I finish by asking that as many of you as possible attend the AGM and that you encourage others to attend. The falling number of members attending the AGM in recent years has been noted and is a great concern to the Club Officers. I would remind you all that this is your Club, and the Club AGM provides a forum for you to raise any Club related matters that are of a concern to you.
