From Mini Juniors to the 1st Team!
Two young lads who came through the Hull Ionians Rugby Club Mini Juniors are now both representing the Hull Ionians 1st Team!

A huge congratulations to Alex Edwards on making his 1st Team debut, and it’s fantastic to have Charlie Cook back in the 1st Team following his three-year stint away at university.

Buccaneers Coach, Dan Zgoda, said:
“I am incredibly proud of both Alex and Charlie, who are both valuable members of the Buccaneers squad. They have played for Ionians since they were very young and have worked their way through the sections, earning 1st team recognition along the way. It is very well deserved, and a fantastic achievement for both lads.”

It’s brilliant to see two players who have come through the Ionians pathway from such a young age now pulling on the 1st team shirt. A fantastic achievement and one that everyone at the club can be proud of.
