Buccaneers loose in the final minute

In a tough physical game at Wharfedale The Buccaneers worked really hard and showed serious heart. They were level 7 all at half time thanks to a try from Paul Evison converted by Charles Parkinson. The second half was scoreless until the last minute when the Foresters were awarded a penalty on halfway which they kicked for 3 points to win the match. One of our closest 2nd XV matches at Wharfedale for many years with the team taking great pride into the coming weeks knowing what they are capable of.
Tyler Heelas, Mike Mel, James Leitch all played well as well as stand in scrum half Alex Wilkinson with Scott Jackson being man of the match.
