With the 1st team not in action this weekend all eyes are on the mighty Buccs and their home semi final play off against Hullensians! Head coach Dan “Ziggy”Zgoda has urged for support on Saturday for his young crew of fine men!

Ziggy's message

“It’s been a fantastic season so far for this young squad who have gone unbeaten in the league and have only lost to a very strong Driffield 2nd team in October in a friendly, with that loss being avenged in January with a thrilling 26 - 24 win at Brantingham Park. We’ve bloodied 14 of last year’s exceptional 18’s colts with a number of those lads making 1st team debuts! We’ve found a lovely blend of youth and experience to develop a really good squad with old timers like Brad Willingham, Gaunty, Mike Mel and the rugby sensei Charlie “Mr Myagi” Allenby all chipping in with help and advise to develop the young talent coming through! It must all be said Joe Makin’s policy of making the 1sts and Buccs train together has paid dividends in improving the Buccs as players and a squad! I really hope with no 1st team match on this weekend fans, members and alickadoo’s come down and support the lads as I believe a fair number of future 1st team players will be on display!
